Color Spell Shawl Catch-Up 10/08/2024

We are four weeks into our Color Spell Shawl knit-along and we have our first finished object! 

Juanita's lovely version is very close to our Summer yarn bundle with a couple of small colour changes:

Angie's '50 Shades of Pink' version is coming on nicely with its beautiful floral inspiration!:

Here's my progress - I was very excited to get to my fifth colour in time for our Zoom meeting last night:

And people are still joining in - I've just sent a happy customer off from the shop with this bundle of loveliness. Inspired by the "Autumn" yarn bundle I'm making, but with a different main colour:

Yesterday evening in our knit-along Zoom meeting, we were all agreeing how very lovely the Kremke Soul Wool Edelweiss Alpaka 4-ply is to work with and how much fun the Color Spell pattern by Joji Locatelli is. It's been a real delight running this knit-along and I'm already planning the next one!

Our next, and last, Zoom meeting for the Color Spell Shawl knit-along will be on Friday 23rd August. There is no pressure to finish by that date at all (unless you are me, I really should finish my own KAL!), it's just lovely to chat to people all making the same thing and even if you are only just casting on, you are still most welcome!
