Our New Programme of Courses and Events for May, June, July 2022
With the imminent move of All About The Yarn to Chesterblade Hills I'm delighted to announce our programme of events and courses for May, June and July 2022.
We have crafty meet-ups, courses and a very special guest lined up for a pop-up shop.
Our last day of trading from Catherine Hill will be 23rd April when we'll be having a clearance sale. We'll be closed during the week leading up to the 23rd.
All About The Yarnies, our regular Tuesday evening crafting meet-up, won't be able to take place at the shop anymore but we will continue to meet in Frome on Tuesday evenings (except for 21st June where we'll have a Summer Solstice Edition 7.30-9.30pm at Chesterblade). Location to be confirmed but I'm putting out feelers!
*Also* we're introducing a monthly(ish) Saturday morning All About The Yarnies meet-up at Chesterblade. The first one is 7th May 10.30am - 12.00pm. Book your space here.
We have prepared a varied programme of fibre craft classes over the next few months. Our classes for May to July include lace knitting, toe-up sock knitting, crocheted flowers, crochet fruity bunting and beginners needle felting.
We're also delighted to welcome three guest tutors, Rachael of Cat and Sparrow who will be running a Turkish Drop Spindle class, Skye of Slow Stitch Club who will be running a Visible Mending class, and Teresa of Kissi who will be running an Intarsia Knitting class.
Booking is easy via the website. All courses can be seen here.
We're also very happy to arrange one-to-one knitting or crochet lessons. If you'd like more details, drop us an email: info@allabouttheyarn.co.uk.
On June 11th we are very excited to host Skein Queen (otherwise known as Rachel) for a pop-up shop. This will be a great chance to come and see some of Rachel's beautiful hand-dyed yarns that aren't available in shops. There may well be cake! I'll publish more details nearer the time...
For the full programme, please see our e-brochure (click on the cover below) or you can pick up a printed copy in person:
If you'd like a printed copy in the post each quarter, please send us your postal address. You can email us at info@allabouttheyarn.co.uk
We hope to see you very soon at Chesterblade Hills. It really is a lovely spot and we're excited to welcome you to our new home!
At the moment we're planning on being open 10am - 4pm on Saturdays from 7th May and are looking to add a couple of weekdays once we're settled. In the meantime, we're happy to arrange weekday visits by appointment from May, just drop us an email: info@allabouttheyarn.co.uk
