Join us at Chesterblade Hills for a cosy festive day of making, good food and good company as we head towards Christmas.
We’ll spend the day making a cheerful little robin hanging decoration using a beautiful Corinne Lapierre wool-blend felt kit. It’s a straightforward hand-sewing and embroidery project, designed to be worked through at your own pace – the idea is to slow down, settle in and enjoy making something by hand.
Your kit includes clear, illustrated instructions, so you can happily get on with your robin at your own pace, with Janet and me on hand to demonstrate techniques, answer questions and help whenever you need us. There’s no pressure to finish on the day – your kit is yours to take home and complete at your leisure.
We’ll stop for a warming homemade soup and bread lunch, with tea, coffee and homemade festive treats to keep us going throughout the day.
Everything is included, so all you need to do is turn up, settle in and enjoy a little pocket of calm before Christmas.

Who is it for?
Anyone who fancies a gentle seasonal project and a lovely pre-Christmas day out. A little previous experience of hand sewing will be helpful, but you certainly don’t need to be an expert. The illustrated written instructions will guide you through the project, with Janet and me there to help along the way.
There are only six places, keeping the day small, friendly and relaxed.
Food
Lunch and refreshments are included in the ticket price and will be vegetarian. All About The Yarn has a Food Hygiene Rating of 5, and I hold a Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate.

Booking information
£55 per person
A minimum of four guests is required for the day to go ahead.
Cancellations made less than two weeks before the event are non-refundable unless I am able to fill your place. If your place can be filled, you may transfer your booking to another workshop.
If I need to cancel because of illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be contacted as soon as possible and offered either a refund or a transfer to another event.
