These cheerful 50g balls of recycled cotton/polyester come in a great range of colours.
The yarn is made entirely from recycled materials - cotton garments and PET bottle plastic.
With a high cotton content, this yarn is breathable yet the recycled polyester content adds a lighter feel when compared to pure cotton. I've worked this at a double knit tension and it works but the manufacturer recommends a gauge of c. 18st over 10cm. This gives a good drape to your finished item.
This yarn would be great for adult garments and children's/baby clothes alike. Especially as it is machine washable!
