Sea Holly is a beautiful cabled hat using Baa Ram Ewe's lovely Pip Colourwork. You will need 2 balls. Shown here in the fab Bramley Baths. Named after the British wildflower Sea Holly whose Tall blue-green flowers and sharp angular features give it a distinctive appearance. Fun fact: Sea Holly isn't related to the red-berried holly common to Christmas decorations - its actually part of the carrot family!
Yarn usage:
baa ram ewe Pip Colourwork – Bramley Baths – 2 balls (Pompom shown in Rose Window – 1 ball is required for a 7cm [2¾ in] pompom)
Suggested needle sizes (dependent on your gauge): 2.5mm circular needle, 32"/40cm long or 2.5mm set of five double-pointed needles and 2.75mm circular needle, 32"/40cm long or 2.75mm set of five double-pointed needles. If using 40cm circulars, you'll need double pointed needles or magic loop method with a longer circular for shaping the crown. You can find our needles here.
You'll also need a cable stitch needle and a stitch marker.
